Now Is Forever - Rainstorm TC warrior

NowIsForever is a traditional Warriors roleplaying site set in the old forest. Our story takes place a few generations after SkyClan has been driven from the forest, well before the time of Bluestar or Firestar. We are always accepting new members, and our friendly members and staff will make sure to accommodate you to make sure that you can be integrated into the roleplay. Rivermist, a half-Clan queen in WindClan, and a half-Clan warrior from ShadowClan by the name of Foxfur had eight kits. The kits were raised in their mother's Clan until they were three moons old, when things changed.

After a request from the kits' father caused Rivermist to contemplate moving some of her kits to ShadowClan, WindClan's leader made the shocking decision to split the queen's kits evenly between all four Clans. Under the reasoning that the kits had the blood of all four Clans within them, two kits were sent to each of the other Clans, while two remained in WindClan with their mother.

Though all eight kits currently struggle with the after-effects of this tumultuous change, more is still to come. After the kits all become apprentices, one by one a kit from each Clan will die, until there is only one left alive in each of the four Clans. In honour of their fallen siblings, the apprentices will eventually take their dead littermates' suffix as their warrior prefix.

But what further troubles await these ill-fated offspring of a cursed union?

Five she-cat warriors of WindClan and RiverClan have been great friends for moons, and decide to do something crazy. They plan to get pregnant and have kits all at the same time, but one thing they don't count on is how many kits this really means!

The five queens each have four or five kits... that's a lot of kits to be born at the same time! But no-matter how tumultuous the idea seems, the queens have no idea what shocking change will come of their innocent plot.

Mate/Crush: Nightclaw (deceased) unlikely to take another.

Kin: Rabbitheart and Ravenkit are his only surving sons.

Description: Rainstorm is a large mostly black cat. He has a white left hind paw and a white spot on his lower back. He's still quite muscular despite his age. His paws are white though. The pads under them are black, rough, and scarred from battle. He keeps his fur well groomed so it gleams, some short patches from old scars. His fur is particularily short on his left flank. His tail is white tipped. His eyes were sky blue, like his Rabbitheart's but have clouded with past tradgedies.

Personality: Rainstorm is an experienced dedicated warrior. Rainstorm has seen many bloody battles in his life, so he's very militant when it comes to his duty to his Clan. He is brave and determined in battle, but the lives of his clanmates always come first. Otherwise, he's can joke, and laugh with all the other warriors. He's loud and boastful of his eldest son, Rabbitheart, anytime he can. And he's been taking Rabbitheart with him hunting and on boardpatrol ever since Rabbitheart was apprenticed. His heart has been very heavy since his mate, Nightclaw's death, but he hides it as best he can. Unfortunately, this leads to him ignoring Ravenkit as he tries to move on.

History: Rainkit was born in Leaffall with two brothers. Ironically, his mother died giving birth to them. They were nursed by their mothers best friends. Their father, a large black and grey tom, was also very tough. He was teaching them hunting styles since they were three moons.

They were all apprenticed on the same day. Rainpaw was the "luckiest". His mentor was their father himself. Rainpaw's eyes had never shone so bright as when that announcement was made. His brothers, though jealous, congratulated him and worked hard to prove themselves as well. But father already favored Rainpaw, and they grew more bitter by each moon. Rainpaw's brothers, trying to prove themselves, left camp one rainy night in serch of a fox living on ThunderClan border. They intended on chasing the fox out, but did not take into account the fox's mate. The toms tried to flee but did not stand a chance. Rainpaw's heart shattered at the sight of his brothers' bodies. His eyes lost their glow that day. He stopped pushing himself for his father's sake, and fell into a long depression.

Rainstorm became a warrior two moons after the deaths of his brothers. He was still numb, and even his father's death in battle didn't shock him much. His father had given up on his awhile after the incident anyway...Then, a new light sparked within him. Nightclaw had been trying to comfort him for a long time, but one day something just clicked. He fell in love and found himself much happier than he'd been even as a kit. He was overjoyed at first when Nightclaw told him she was going to have kits. But after the kits were born, Nightclaw became ill. Rainstorm, though saddened by two of the kits dying, was in utter panic over Nightclaw's life. When she pulled through, he no longer wanted anymore kits, deciding it would put her in danger.

Moons passed and Rainstorm bonded with Rabbitpaw, who was eager to learn as much as he could from his father. But, Nightclaw was due to have another litter. Rainstorm panicked again and his worst fears were confirmed. Nightclaw died shortly after Ravenkit's birth. Rainstorm never admitted it, but it is easy to see that he feels resentment that Ravenkit lived and Nightclaw died....

Ravenpaw's apprentice ceremony stirred up more bitterness than he was expecting. He keeps a close eye on Rabbitheart these days.
