Name Thymenose Age Sixteen Moons Gender Tom Clan WindClan Apprentice None Rank Warrior Mate/Crush None, currently.
Grandfather (NPC , Deceased) Mother Mintfur (NPC , WC Warrior) Father Duskfur (NPC , WC Warrior)
Description
Long limbed and scrawny, Thymepaw is the perfect WindClan cat. That is, until you realize his limbs are just a little too long, making him a rather clumsy cat. His long, gangly limbs often tangle up in each other when the tom walks or runs, or does anything, really. He's pretty awkward looking when he sits down, his long legs sticking out awkwardly and never really positioning themselves.
It's as if they're too long for his body and, in reality, they most likely are.
He hasn't really grown into his legs, yet.
If you ignore his awkward, gangly body though, you'll see that the tom has a rather handsome pelt, when it's not un-groomed, that is. His pelt, while mostly white, has a gingery-brown "suit" patched on, with dark brown and black tabby stripes swishing to and fro on said patch. This patch sits on the back of his head, as well, circling up to the top of his ears.
His eyes are a sickly brown-amber color and, beneath his eyes lie a pink nose and white whiskers.
His paws are a bit too big for his body, not to mention, make him look even more odd.
Yes, he's very odd looking.
Very odd looking.
Personality
Thymepaw can be called a very awkward cat. He looks awkward, talks awkwardly and all around acts a bit awkwardly. He's really a sweet tom but, it's hidden beneath all his layers of awkward social skills. A bit loud, whiny, and jumpy, Thymepaw is easily flustered, not to mention, easily emotionally hurt.
Kits teasing him hurts, Other Apprentices teasing him hurts, it doesn't take much for him to get upset.
Despite this though, Thymepaw thrives upon the attention of others, often hanging around with those who mock him. Who knows why but, the tom just likes the feeling of being around others, actually socializing, even if it's in an odd way.
While he is very jumpy, Thymepaw is also very excitable. New things excite him, causing him to talk in a quick, jabbered fashion. It's not too different from his usual way of speaking but, it's much faster.
A big fan of studying bugs and things, Thymepaw isn't a very good hunter, or fighter, actually, he isn't very good at anything, really. His legs are too long to make him a proper fighter, they often fall out or tangle with each other, causing him to become quite the klutz when sparring or practicing or do anything really. He's much too loud to hunt properly, as well, making him a poor apprentice. It's been doubted he'll ever become a warrior, really.
A bit of a nerd, Thymepaw likes to know everything. He likes spouting his knowledge at random times, as well, from things he's learned from watching others to things he's learned from talking to strange cats. He thirsts for knowledge, really.
"See that beetle? Birds eat it and then spit it out back for their hatchlings. It can be brown, blue, black, and sometimes even-" "SHUT UP THYMEPAW." "Hehe, sorry..."
Despite he awkward tendencies, the lanky tom really is a sweet fellow who enjoys talking to the queens and kits.
He hopes to someday discover something amazing or to at least leave a name for himself.
Maybe he can become the first elder never to receive their warrior name...
Maybe.
History
Born to Mintfur and Duskfur of Windclan, most of Thymepaw's early life was spent in the elders den with his aging grandfather. His Grandfather, already very old upon the time of Thymepaw's birth, was starting to go senile, which, can explain some of the tom's odd behaviors as an apprentice. He lived his life content, with his Grandfather as his only "true" companion. The other kits he played with tended to be mean and cruel, not to mention his parents tended to ignore their odd little kit. His grandpa was kind, nice, and he knew so much! He taught him everything, about all the bugs and bird and cats and everything. It was Yarrowtooth who put Thymepaw's thirst for knowledge in him and it was only hanging around Yarrowtooth and the medicine cat that made Thymepaw into such a socially awkward cat. His kit-hood was content, for a while, and he was happy.
He was around ten moons when his Grandfather passed away, resulting in the tom to finally have to rely on the companionship of others. Unfotunately, these others included many of his tormentors as kit, though, why he continues to hang around them remains a mystery.
Now, he is content with studying bugs and talking to kits, though, he does wish he could just learn how to hunt!
So, it was in his sixteenth moon that Thymepaw finally gained what he always longed for; a warrior name. Despite the fact he couldn't hunt, or fight, or do anything very well, Ravenstar took it upon himself to make the lanky cat a warrior. He was called up one day, alongside a fellow apprentice, Sorrelpaw, and was given the name Thymenose, while the other apprentice was given the name Sorrelheart. His vigil that night was hard to stand, because he would end up jabbering before realizing what he was doing and panicking.
But it didn't matter, now, Thymepaw was Thymenose.
And he's gonna be the best warrior yet.
